Rolls-Royce abre plazo de inscripcion a las ofertas de graduate y internship!!

This is also a reminder that the applications to the schemes start on the 1st of September, so all of you who are interested should try to apply as soon as possible – vacancies will be filled on a first come first served basis

Key points from the company presentations:

1 – Three options to join Rolls-Royce Plc

– Internships – for those still studying and going back to university (no final years). Two options: summer internship for 10-12weeks (starting in June), regular internship for 6 or 12 months (also starting in June but with some flexibility). Both paid, both a fantastic opportunity to get experience and later join the company.

– Graduate programme – for those finishing their degree in 2016 or graduates with little to no professional experience. 18 month program trying different roles and areas in the company, slowly building up your capabilities and careers towards your personal goals

– Direct entry – plenty of positions available with a wide array of areas and experience requirements. Tailored for those with more experience or a narrower focus of interests

2 – The Internship opportunity As we said often, we highly recommend to anyone still studying to apply to one of the Internship programmes. From everyone who completed this kind of scheme we are told that it was an extraordinary experience and most get an invitation to come and join the Graduate programme once they are finished with their studies. We have had some Spanish students doing so and we hope this number grows!

3 – Main reasons why in the past students have been rejected from the Internship and Graduate programme

– Weak CV –use all the guidance we have provided, including the attached material, to help you. Remember to be truthful and positive, focus on your achievements and skills, show rather than tell and present yourselves beyond students/workers

– Weak online application – incorrect and/or insufficient information submitted. Double check everything, take your time to make it right, don’t write 20 words when you are asked 200.

– Not completing or not passing the online tests – make sure you practice before you complete and submit these, and make sure you submit them on time (practice link below). You only get one shot, make it your best one.
