109364 – Internship: Antenna Gain simulation, validation, optimization R&D, Electronics Engineering division

Within Electronics Engineering division we are Electronics Evaluation group.
A part of our team is focussing on Electro Magnetic Compatibility testing. Their main responsibility is homologation pre-test and competitor performance benchmarking.
The project consists of 5 phases:
- Theory, software selection, EMC chamber capability 1 month
- Simulation 2-3 month
- Validation with Toyota antenna 1-2 month
- Optimization 1 month
- Data collection by using BM antenna 1 month
The project consists in writing a program able to link the turntable , Vector Network Analyzer, Signal Generator Trasmission and Receiving antenna.
This script can be made via Matlab , VB or Excel, based on the preference of the intern.
Last year Master student in Electronics Engineering (preferably)
The intern should have good knowledge of antenna theory and preferably EMC.
Good knowledge of Matlab
Knowledge of Visual Basics is an asset
