In the frame of ThalesAleniaSpace contribution to the PIA, we received the three proposals here attached.
1) One is a post doc proposal for IETR (1st class French lab on antennas) in INSA Rennes, on a Research project with TAS. The funding for the project is already available. It could interest some of your students that want to improve his/her knowledge on RF Antennas; of course they must have background in EM design and simulation.
2) and 3) The other two are Thesis topics open to new candidates.
“Iono …” is a system thesis on propagation in the navigation domain.The co-funding complementary to Thales Alenia Space has to be identified jointly with the Laboratory that will recruit the candidate. Of course the offer is conditioned to the availability of this co-funding. Thales Alenia Space co-funding is also proposed to any research laboratory of PEGASUS University in Europe that would be interested to recruit and manage a PhD on this thematic. During the 2nd or 3rd year of his (her) thesis the student would spend some months in Thales Alenia Space premises in Toulouse with some financial support from TAS.
“Astrophysique …” is a thesis in Science domain. It is already fully funded and the laboratory that will recruit the candidate is identified (OCA/Lagange lab in France – Provence Côte Azur).
